Radiolab

Here is a suggestion, from one lab to another lab…. Radiolab is a radio show on WNYC  (it is also available on iTunes podcasts) that discusses scientific topics in a unique form driven by a soundscape and a fun two person VO style.  DEFINITELY take a listen to the podcast if you can.   They use sounds and soundscapes to really play with their concepts through audio.  The latest version is called “Words.” It is a pretty good example of what I am talking about in terms of soundscapes and creating audio layers to tell the story, especially at 2:15

Radiolab Podcasts and more info can be found at http://www.wnyc.org/shows/radiolab . Shows are on the right hand side.

WNYC and Everynone have also collaborated on a few video projects. The videos are often short, simple, and moving experiments on a topic.  This one is “Moments.”
