Vignette in Color

| October 10, 2011

Here’s also a great tutorial video from Creative Cow.

Here’s also a good step-by-step post

Melanie’s step by step, day by day instructions:
Export your video from Final Cut to Color.
Under Secondaries, choose vignette. (Make sure “enabled” is checked).
Click “vignette.”
Adjust the shape, to whatever size or shape oval you prefer.
Add softness. (I usually pull it up to about .288 or so)
Under Control, choose “outside.”
Then under Highlights, drag bar down about halfway or so.
To preview, click on “set-up” tab.
To past effect, drag the effect across the entire timeline.
