Very nicely shot – On my computer it looks like Brightcove pixelated it a lot… but you can tell that it probably looks very nice natively. I like that the background is different then the normal VOICE episode.
There was one point around 1:30 where it seeemed brighter than the rest of the piece. Did you change the lighting or something?
Side note: What’s the Education Arcade? That sounds like fun…
Nicely Done!
Is this the first of the Boston Collective? Great work. I like this guy’s energy and clarity. It didn’t seem like a hard one to edit so I guess that’s a big compliment if it was!
At first I was really excited to see a different background…but now I can’t get religious imagery out of my head when I watch this. Is he an angel or a yoga instructor? lol, I do love to see the black backdrop getting redone though!
It looks pixelated on my screen also – Melanie, what were your quicktime settings?
Its nice to see a change in the Voice! Spice things up a bit. Good interview – he was great on camera!
Nice editing! I noticed he was a bit yellow…did you shoot in a room that had a mix of natural light and the totas? If so I’d recommend using the K setting on the 5D (I think the totats are 3200K). Also, I might left-justify numbered lists instead of center…Great job!
He does look good on camera and articulated. I am looking forward to see the rest of the Boston series. What lights did you bring? You did a good job with it. Next time I will have less frontal light, it flattens his face a bit. It looks great in any case.
(ps if you want I can color correct it, it will take a second)
