Top 10 social action docs?

A blogger over at POV listed the top 10 social action documentaries with the highest production esthetic.

I think this list is an example of the problems inherent to making a top ten list about films. He left so much out and he gets at least 5 of these wrong.

AND it seems like if a film was made before 2000 it is automatically dismissed from being included. With the exception of Harlan County. I dont know why this makes me so angry but it does. Maybe since he acknowledges that he is wrong at the beginning? I think Tongues Untied should be number 1. The film itself is one of the most important social action documentaries ever made. AND is visually interesting.
